why do u think israel use all its power to defeat hizbollah? in the past israel did the same with arafat, went after him all the way to beirut and later sat down with him and talked?
if israel wants hizbollah to say that israel can exist, is it ok to stop this war?
i say that israel is a threat to the existence of lebanon not the opposite? why israel is attacking lebanon? i think it is about the dream of israel for new mid east ?

Israel is not attacking Lebanon. Israel attacking the terrorist group Hisbulla - who are cowards and instead of fighting face to face, they are hiding in building where children and women are staying. Not only that. They do that in a country that don’t belong to them, but too weak to stop them. Lebanese are angry at Israel because it’s an easy way to express their anger. How can they be angry at their Muslim "brothers" that are actually doing it to them? It’s easier to blame Israel - the big bad wolf. Did you know that there are 500 millions Arabs and only 5 million Israelis? Did you notice that not even once you heard of a terrorist group from Israel? Only Muslims. You are feeding from the media that loves to show pictures that not always tell the whole story. Even sometimes tell a falls story. The Arabs like to show how they are the victims. The Israelis won’t do that - after the holocaust they vowed not to be the victims anymore, not to be the weak. Although, believe me it sells. Who are you going to be sympathetic for - the strong Israeli or the poor victim Arab (usually babies or old woman) I'm sure that you heart is going to cry for the victim - but its only propaganda.
Israel is a modern country, people want to live in peace. Israel and Judaism sanctify life as appose to the Muslims who sanctify death by sending kids and girls for suicide missions. Did you notice that the leaders of the suicide bombers tell them how this is the ultimate thing to do, but they themselves will never do it or neither their family members. They flee the scean and hide but send little children to bid their war.

The Lebanese Christians are chickenhawks. Lebanon was set up after World War I as a Christian decoy for the next jihad, which started with the Arab Oil Embargo in 1973. Their common people fought against the Nazislamis the last time, but just like our pro-war rich during Vietnam, the Christian upper class kept their little brats from getting hurt in that war. So now Lebanon doesn't really exist, it's just a terrorist playpen.

The people of Israel are panicking. They have lost their collective nerve. It is so much easier to figure that the other side do not deserve any forgiveness or understanding. Just think about it for a moment, what is harder to do, lash out and blame others, or keep your perspective and struggle to understand, forgive and move on with making peace?
Once you get to this point, who is going to trust first? No one! Now the world has to come up with a formula that gently describes a way to deescalate without insulting or angering anyone.
The fact that America is now discredited itself by choosing a side, America is now absolutely unable to assist in bring the two sides together and making peace.
Frankly, America under George W. Bush and Condi Rice do not want peace, they want Israel to win. So America can no longer be the honest broker, we are the owner of this conflict. We, by being on the side of Israel, have assisted in the breakdown of peace.
We can only hope that some other group of countries can step up and take our former role as peace maker, and help the warring parties see their way out of this crisis.
God help us.

Israel is attacking Lebanon because Hezbollah is based there and is launching attacks from there...that said, I do think they have been excessive in their use of force, as they always are...
Everyone in that region is somehow a threat to the existence of everyone else in that region...even the Arab states don't agree on anything, they just have a common enemy right now...
There will be very little "outcome" from this little war...mostly innocent casualties and rabid protests...the argument will linger long after...

do you know why you never hear of an israeli terrorist? its because the US sells them sophisticated weapons so that they can "defend" themselves. The others who are not that lucky live in misery and poverty, with only their bodies to use for defense.
