Yes it would make it easier to acknowledge them.

This a two sided question...Do I think Minors should be sunjected to adult content over the internet..?No, I don't believe minors should be subjected to adult content over the internet. But how do you moniter minors use of the internet..? Minors should not have access for pornagraphic material; but unfortunately some do.Its is the responsiblity of the parent to determine what is appropriate for their child.Parents should know who they are chatting with and with whom. Parenting should not be the government responsiblity.
Flagging minors could possibly help pediphiles find young unsuperviised children on the internet. Then there is the question of profiling. If you are allowed to flag minors what group would be next.As good as any idea is, there is always someone who will turn that idea around for thier own personal benefit.
You cant rely on honesty. That's a scarce commodity these daysJust read and answer each question cautiously. The teen questions stand out; but there are some adults that really stand out too.So, just be aware you dont know your audience.

Rune is correct, most minors on here are pretty easy to point out. However, I do agree they should be flagged. However, this raises the questions as how does Yahoo! go about identifying the age of the user. Most kids won't say they are under 15 because that doesn't sound cool. And afterall, proving their coolness on the Internet to a bunch of people they don't know is what being a tween is all about.

No, it shouldn't matter what kind of person is asking or answering the question, as long as it's good information than who cares?
With that sh*tty attitude of yours, why not have a little colored asterisk for the blacks, the Asians, the whites, etc. And their number age should be posted too. Why not add their religion, nationality and political affiiation while we're at it?
Sorry, but its the internet. It's part of the deal that you really don't know who you're talking to. Get the f*ck over yourself.

No need. They're pretty obvious.
Ooh, I like Paul's idea! That would really give our points some added value. Every now and then when I go to answer a question, if I find it's already gotten to 2 pages, I don't bother. Unless the question is a really good one. But knowing that I'll float to the top like cream would make it worthwhile!

From some of the stuff I have seen, they probably should be.Like someone else said, all anyone has to do is lie.But you can usually tell in their words. Some minors are more mature than others, though. Some get exposed to much more in their own homes and at school.

How would Yahoo know? I'm sure minors will lie about their ages.

yup too obvious to bother with markings
although a ranking system would be better.
higher ranked people go to the top of the list of answers, so you dont have to trawl though rubbish when there are many answers
