a hickie is blood pulled to the surface with a suction, therefore you will need something smooth and cold like the back of a spoon to break it up by goind over it and massaging the hickie spot or wear a turtle neck sweater. good luck.

Just like any other bruise, it will fade over time. Everyone heals at different rates. You probably have been bruised before in your lifetime, so you know how long bruises tend to last.
To hide a hickey, use concealer makeup and try that while it fades away naturally. If you tend to be a really slow healer, eat healthy foods so your body has a better chance of healing.
Good luck!

ive never tried this, but im told it works wonders...

you'll need: a meduim sized bowl, LOTS of icecubes, and a spoon.
directions:
1 put icecubes in bowl and put spoon in the middle of the ice.
2 place in freezer and let sit for 10mins
3 get it out of freezer and remove spoon.
4 place spoon on hickie and leave it on there checkin on it occasonally, but no tlike every minute.
5 leave it there till hickie dissaperes.

good luck and God Bless!!

Everyone is right, there is no fast way to get "rid" of it. All you can do is cover it up with make up and hope for the best. Good luck.

The short answer is you don't.

A hickey is caused by the small capillaries under the skin breaking. The blood leaks into the surrounding tissue forming a "bruise".

Your only choice is to live with it or cover it.

A hickey results in broken capillaries along the skin. No fast cure, sorry!

You really cant get rid of it but you can hide it!
Cover it with concealer. Mary Kay has a really good one that can cover anything, so if you know someone who sells it, buy it now!

SORRY HONEY, THERE IS NO WAY TO GET RID OF A HICKEY. YOU ARE STUCK WITH IT UNTIL IT FADES AWAY. TRYING TO COVER IT UP WILL NOT WORK IT CAN MAKE IT MORE OBVIOUS. IF YOU DON'T LIKE HICKEYS THEN TELL YOUR PARTNER NOT TO GIVE THEM TO YOU. IF YOU ARE JUST WORRIED ABOUT PEOPLE SEEING THEM THEN TELL YOUR PARTNER TO JUST GIVE THEM TO YOU BELOW THE NECK SO THAT YOU CAN HIDE THEM WITH CLOTHING. LOL
