I'm sooooo happy. Can you imagine the political ramifications to the Democratic party when Lieberman wins against the Democrats and Republicans in CT. The liberal far left is about to implode the democratic party. Fact is with situations as such as they are in the Middle East anti-semetism is what lost him the election under the Democratic ticket. So just wait for the Republicans to jump ship and vote for the man that stands by his beliefs along with the rest of the Democrats that voted for him this week. Howard Dean is crapping his pants LMAO
Clean house is right. The liberal far left are about to evict themselves out of the democratic party.

Lieberman is hardly a neocon. He's just rational. He is not willing to sit by while people are killed and murdered by terrorists, while terrorists threaten the US, just for political gain.

He's not running independent for himself, but for what he sees as being better for his country. In this case, I agree with him. The US does not need any more of the loopy leftist lunatic fringe coming to DC. They've done more than enough harm.

I wish Lieberman would come to the Republican side of the house, liberal democrats show no allegiance. All the guy is trying to do is take care of the Majority of his people, he's not one of those shmucks who forgot about 9/11.
If you going to be mad at somebody, be mad at all the politicians like Kerry or Ted Kennedy who flip flop on issues, at least Liberman stays his ground....who are the real people who need to be let go?

First of all he doesnt represent you in the senate, he represents me, as a resident of Ct.
He is running because he does care about his constituency, people like me that are independent voters, and the other 60% of the CT residents that are independent. We elected him 3 times, and will elect him again.
He leads in the 3 way polls by a huge margin.
He didnt abandon the Dem party, they abandoned him.

He does care....and he knows where the party is going....and knows that is not where the Liberals should be heading.....and so does his base......he votes 90% liberal.....that is not a NEOCON, as you so like to say.....he is for the security of our country, and I know you could care less....but that is alright....he will still be in the senate, and he will caucus with the Dems....it won't be any different...

Question is...did his party care about him? I don't think that party cares about much! Please don't insult anyone by telling us the "Democrats aren't afraid to clean house". If this is so, why was that trash heap in the White House for eight years?
