I started my period 8/07/06 but this time its not heavy its light and also on my first day it was spots and very dark, I also gained some weight and feel tired and sick.

You wont feel sick unless you are at least 4 wks late on your period. Also its very unlikely that your pregnant if you have any bleeding more than just a little spotting. That is unless you are misccarrying. You wouldnt start gaining any weight soon because the baby would just be the size of a bean.

go to planned parenthood and take a pregnancy test to be sure. it only cost around $20. it's worth the money because home pregnancy tests aren't always reliable. good luck.

If you get your period, you are not pregnant. If your symptoms concern you however, you should go to your gynecologist and explain how you're feeling.
