It's best not to pull it. Personally, when I was a child my parents tried the doorknob thing and it just didn't work. As a child, we like to get into things, I just wiggled mine until I decided to pull it. Just let him or her know what the tooth fairy is and they'll do the rest of the work themselves!!

Tell the child that you are only giong to look at the tooth and with a papertowel in your hand act like you touching the tooth the yank really hard and volia the tooth is out!

If the child has a grandmother let her do it my grandma took out all my baby teeth it make u feel comfortable because you know ur grandparent couldnt ever hurt u plus my grandma has the gentle touch but us a a paper napkin

Don't. I always hated people trying to pull out my teeth as a child. If you just leave it alone it will eventually wobble enough to fall out of it's own accord and it's much less painful.

holy crap. i have that same situation. bottom tooth wont come out. except i am teen. around 15, you know. i am gettin mine pulled in about 5-6 days. we finally scheduled my appointment for the dentist. i just felt like sharing, it's weird we have the same situation.

take a rag and pull it down toward lip. or make it fun, we did the door knob thing except with the dog instead of the door.
