I don't think you will loose balance. Ha-ha. If you mean lose, then yes. You should do your best to make both armpits exactly 100 percent the same. If not, well, for one, if you get in an accident and they open up your shirt, they'll regard you as some sort of idiot for only shaving one. However, if you aren't going anywhere, then I suppose it would be okay to just shave one.

not that i have tried it but i think u wont be able to stand straight after u shave it. u might need to shave the other side in order to balance and be normal agian

shave one arm pit then tell me what a bovine hydrating a horizontal geophysical surface is.
