No - gasoline will never go down below $2.00 - sad but true. There is an adequate supply of oil - it's just that there is now a bigger demand - especially from places like China and India and these places are willing to pay the higher amount - so everyone (the oil companies) are jumping on the band wagon and making tons of profits. They will use any excuse to raise the rates even higher. Your best bet - try to conserve and use less.

Where are you paying $1.65? It's $3.00 here in Georgia and going up over the weekend due to them closing down that oil field...and to answer your question, no, the prices will not be going down any time soon...Only up.
