When you have the procedure/transfer is it painful?
If anyone has been a gestational surrogate, please share your experiences with me, I most likey will be starting this process within the next month or 2 and just want some thoughts on how the experience was for you, especailly if you have carried mulitples, I will either be carrying triplets or twins, and very excited but just like any other pregnancy nervous, thanks for your time

I don't know how it is being done for you. I had the procedure done, although it was not for surrogate purposes (I didn't not have my own eggs, so was using a donor). In my case, the doctor had more sucess doing it through a laperoscopy operation. That was eleven years ago, and now I have twins! Anyway, I doubt you are having it the surgery way. I do know some people that did it the other way and said it was just mildly uncomfortable, and not for long. I would not worry about the physical pain. Hopefully you have had or will have a little bit of therapy to deal with the emotional side of being a surrogate.
Since I am someone who would never have had children with out the help of generous people like you, I thank you and commend you for what you are about to do! Best of luck!

I have never had it done, but it seems like if they could transfer embryos to another woman that they should be able to save an etopic pregnancy if caught in time. It doesn't really make sense.
