They are about an inch and a half long and they feed on bee balm like crazy - by using thier tongue. They seem to travel in pairs. They are yellowish brown Thanks

Sounds like a "Hummingbird Moth". This is a true moth that travels by day. Smaller than a hummingbird but flies just as fast. They drink nectar on a variety of plants; I have them on Butterfly Bush, Crocosmia, Hosta, Garden Phlox, etc. They are somewhat brownish and maybe slightly fuzzy in appearance. That's a hummingbird moth. I live in Oklahoma and my mom gets them in her garden a lot. When I was little, I thought they were the coolest thing.

I'm not from Canada, I'm from Virigia USA but I work out side and I have seen the things ur are talking abuot but havent been able to figure out what they r

I live in North Texas and have seen something like that too.I guess they get around!

yes they are located in northern Ontario close to wawa you can see them near forests here
