Enjoy nature. Thats what it is there for. Laying in the grass will not make worms acculmilate around you. You might get the occastional ant or grasshopper but no worms. And worms are not going to hurt you. I completely understand your phobia, but worms will not come near you. Just lay a blanket down and enjoy nature.

Bugs are usually afraid of something a million times bigger than them... worms, I don't think they have eyes, so they can't see you and probably won't gather under you anyway.
I like laying in the grass because it's nice and cool... I also love nature, I appreciate and admire it everytime I go out... whether it's a sunset or a pretty flower.
I think if you are afraid, but you want to experience it, you should try and seeing the beauty in it and the relaxation of not having to sit on something made of plastic or stay inside a house that protects you from nature.
Good Luck :)

Sounds like you're an indoor kind of gal :o) Roll down a grassy hill once, lay on a hillside and watch the clouds (or stars at night). It's very relaxing.
An occasional bug might crawl on you, but they brush off. Bug bites heal -- if you're afraid wear pants and long sleeves. I've never had worms accumulate.
Enjoying the grass isn't for everyone I suppose.

There are bugs & insects in the grass. The worms are in the dirt below the grass. You probably wouldn't be lying in the grass long enough for the worms to get you but the bugs will.

If it's reall nice grass that taken care of with no ant then you have nothing to worry about! You're just as likely to get a bug in your hair as you are walking outside! Go lay down in the nice green grass ans star at the sky and enjoy life!

Sometimes, bugs do get in your hair, but it is very rare and its not like they can actually harm you. The best way to get over your fear is to expose yourself to it. Gather your closest buds and lie on the grass for a few minutes, maybe even hours. Soon, you'll be able to see that its not so bad.

just try to lay on a green carpet or some green material on the grass then slowly move off this onto the grass remember bugs and worms are more frightened of you than you are of them .

No, the worms won't gather under you, but you may get an occasional bug in your hair. Don't worry about it!

Depends on the lawn.....Nothing like a nice, plush, green lawn to lay down on a warm day. But I usually can't do it for long. You start to feel little bugs...

I wouldn't try lying on FL. grass. It's very rough and everything down here pokes, scraches, bites, or sucks in one way or another.
