Spock.

Ironically, because of his Vulcan heritage (in which any show of emotion is frowned upon), the character allowed for a much more in depth exploration of human nature. By having a character that did not react to situations with emotion the writers could more fully explore the fundamentals of that aspect of our humanity.

Ahhhh, the original from 1966 - 1969. A classic.

Best character was (IMO) Captain Kirk. Had to love that man!

Captain James Tiberius Kirk - who else?

Spock is number two of course.

Captain Mudd's not bad though, but Captain Christopher Pike beats Mudd.

Then there was Lieutenant Ilea - that crazy head! And of course her love - William Decker - (It was weird seeing him in Seventh Heaven).
