To German soccer player :
you are only 16 so I won't be offensive like you; but I remind you what Germany did between 1940-1945, so you learn what shame is. Go to school then come back.

Because Italians are talented people look at what Italian people have accomplished, A LOT! That's why it is no surprise Italy is a soccer powerhouse. Brazil is a awesome soccer country too. They are the only country to have won 1 more Cup. Brazil and Italy are the powerhouses of soccer.

Because Italy has something called luck on its side. Like someone here once said, luck and cheating make Italian football "great". Didn't anyone notice how each time Italy was losing, and the other team would be outplaying them, but then at the last moment, luck would suddenly strike for them? Is it just me who notices this? It's strange to think of it, wow everytime they prayed, there was an answer. And who can forget how "excited" Lippi was when they beat Australia with that unfair penalty kick at the last minute? Lippi looked like he had been expecting it all along, which he was, because this tournament was rigged, my friends. Italy winning four titles, which Mussolini fixed for you back in 1934 and then winning it again in 1938, like that counts, because like Maradona Jr said, the level of play was so low back then. Then you don't win again until 1982. Wow, now that's quite a dry spell there, don't you think? Now, 24 years later, here we are, with Italy grabbing it's fourth cheating title, yeah, you're right, Juventina, Italy will have no problem winning a fifth title, given the way they are CHEATING these days!

Brazil has been first for almost the entire time in the FIFA rankings of how good the national teams are, and even though Italy won this World Cup tournament, they are still second in the rankings. Besides, Brazil won the World Cup 5 times, and they've shown plenty of success since the World Cup tournament began (even though they didn't make it to the semi-finals this year, we still expected so much from them, and at least they showed lots of progress before their elimination).

Well that's not true because other countries like Argentina and Brazil have also been winners. But Italy is good, I agree with that. This year was Italy turn to win and we don't know who might be next. Italy doesn't win all the time because that's how football is.

They care about soccer more than other teams like they spend money on and concentrate on soccer, for instance look at England, they have cricket, Rugby, tennis, horse riding, but in Italy almost everybody watches soccer which is not the same in other countries except fo Brazil which is better than Italy 5 world cups.

I'm american so I'm going to try to answer your question the best way I know how. I think the main reason why Italy is so good right now is chemistry of the players. Most of the footballers on the team have stayed in country and played for their respective clubs. If you look at England, Germany, Brazil, etc, most of their key players leave their country, follow the money and are forced to play a different style. (Ronaldinho, Beckham, Roberto Carlos, etc). Italian players I guess they have a desire to stay in Italy and play not only for their club teams, but their country.

You seriously like post questions that provoke users to take sides and argue. This place is quietening down now, please don't rev it all up again. Plenty of other teams win, not just Italy, Brazil still hold the record so far. Italy won, congratulations to them and their fans. You obviously are among them and that's great but no need to belittle other fans or the efforts of their teams constantly. So what if other countries do not win, they are no less valuable or loved to their fans whom support them win lose or draw. Some people are proud of their team no matter how they did or what result they achieved and that's sportsmanship and loyalty in the nicest sense.
