When I got my tattoo the man told me not to expose it to a lot of sun and he told me not to go tanning for at least 6 months. So if you want a tattoo and you want to get a tan, wait until winter to get the tattoo.

i wouldnt go tanning until your tattoo is fully healed and that depends on your body. however, remember that even after a tattoo has been healed, tanning and exposure to sun will fade the tattoo (unless by tanning you mean getting that fake spray stuff).

Do not expose tattoo to sun or tanning bed until fully healed. (No sooner than 1-2 weeks.)

After the scabs are gone. Everyones body heals them differently. But you will still want to cover the tatoo with sunscreen if you have alot of color. Tanning fades it. Unless you want to waste your money

As long as it is completely healed it should be fine. I never had any problems tanning with mine. You should put plenty of sunblock on it though because you don't want it to fade or peel.

I'd wait a couple of weeks and even then I'd cover the tattoo with guaze or something.
