Is that a hypothetical? Or did I miss something?
Australia is an ally. A nation that practices a democratic form of government, with a long history of cordial diplomatic relations and common ancestry. As an ally, we'd support them. How and where depends on who was invading.
If you're trying to make an analogy, then it's a bit thin. Australia is the equivalent of a first cousin of the US, since both are colonies of England who still maintain cordial relations with England.
{EDIT} Amelia has a good point. And interesting hypothetical, given that the combined armies of Thailand and Indonesia couldn't take on the local police forces of Queensland, let along Australia as a whole. But the answer is the same, we'd support Australia.

Throughout my studies, I have never learned of any document that reflected England establishing any sort of political agreement with the Australian Peoples before taking lands, building prisons and sending England's criminals to Australia.
Neither are there any documents reflecting the willingness for the Australia Natives to give up their country to England and become outcast in their own land by the invading English.
Is there something amiss in the question?

Laugh, if Australia had a problem with either of them then maybe but Britain would have to be the ones to ask the USA to do anything and I don't think those two third world countries would make Australia worry to much. Beside knowing the Aussie's they would just challenge them to one game of Aussie Rules Football and it would be all over.

This is out there...Australia would never be invaded by anyone, even hypothetically... everyone loves an Aussie!!
And there's no need to make a point about how the US responds to things...it's pretty clear what drives our boat...

I can guarantee you that if Australia was invaded and asked for the U.S.'s help...we'd be there so fast your head would spin. Australia is a great ally of the U.S. and friends go out of their way to help friends during a crisis.
(Of course many sour-puss Americans and America-haters would scream "US imperialism and invasion!" and "We went to war for kangaroo meat!...or whatever.)
Thailand and Indonesia IS a hypothetical stretch since we're good allies with them, too.

I don't know, I think Indonesia and Thailand make a lot of our crap so we might have to back them up. At least I think that's what they would do since most of the big corporations have businesses there and they seem to run our country.

We don't have enough people for just Iraq and Afghanistan, which is why the US hasn't invaded Iran or Syia yet. Thank god! We'd have to start up the draft, and that's political suicide for anyone to attempt. So we'd probably just supply weapons to the Australians and hope for the best.

Well first off we would quit using Aussie's in our commercials. But really, I think the Aussie's could whoop both of the Asian countries without any trouble. If not we would be more than glad to help.
