A game system is only as good as the games made for it. My vote would be for the N64.

tough question. i personally think gamecube, becuase i enjoy playing mario games, animal crossing, zelda etc.
as for hand helds: i have a ds which i love, but the best hand held ever is game boy. nothing can touch it.

Playstation 2 (because you can play PS1 games) nintendo can't and can play DVD's without any addons, X-box can't
