super nintendo. it had more "best ever" type games like super metroid and zelda: link to the past. everything else has been very hit and miss.

The best console has not been released yet, i am of course referring to the Wii. Lots of people will disregard this due to graphics or endless game sequels, but it has originality, innovation and mario.
The best console that is popular and available now is the DS, although technically a hand held, its still brilliant.
The best from times gone by has got to be the Dreamcast, again a console overlooked during the times of the playstation and 64, a lot of people missed out with this.

The newest is always the best right? xbox360. I vote for the atari 7800. It changed everything. Many people owned the atrai2600 was the first to make it into a high number of homes. The nintendo was the most popular and the best of time but still not current with the arcade tech. The ps1 was popular but not as good as the dreamcast. The 7800 was the first to be the best system and current with arcade tech. Xbox360 is the first to be ahead of the arcade but simply not popular enough to be the best ever.

Wii and Atari! the Wii is a really cool overall system ( i hope) and the Atari is one of the greatest classic systems ever to come out!

I like the ps2 fun games good graphics and sturdy Ive droped that thing so many times and it still works haha.
