This is a question you need to talk with your doctor about. Every doctor is different, as is each pregnancy. He/she may have some special guidelines for you to follow if he/she allows it.

Also you'll need to talk with the airline to find out what their rules are for flying when you are pregnant. Each one of those are different too and they may require a note from your doc.

If you do go, make sure to know where the nearest hospital is in case you have some problems and maybe get a referral from your doc for a doctor out there in case something comes up too...just to be on the safe side (especially if you're going to be out there any length of time!).

Best wishes!

Check with your OB, but yes its generally safe to fly up to 36 weeks or later. Just make sure you're getting up and walking quite a bit on the flight.

The general rule is never fly in your last trimester.
If you are a high-risk pregnancy, your doctor may not want you to fly at all.

First talk to your OB doctor and then consult with the airline you are flying with as airlines have their own policies on pregnant women flying.

Yes, you can fly up until 8 months, but I'd get the nod from your doctor first.

The only person that would be able to accurately answer that question would be your ob/gyn. You should tell him all of the details involved and he will be able to give you a correct answer for your situation.

rule number 1---
always talk to your dr before traveling...especially that far and at the point you are at in your pregnancy.

i know that i HAVE to have approval over so many miles b/c if i go into labor and deliver at a strange hosiptal, then my insurance won't cover it unless i have approval.

so, do yourself a favor and just ask.

take care.
