Lol I would stay the course, but get some fun out of it. As they're stupid, it would be fun to confuse them with discussion of current affairs. Talk about the Israel/Lebanon conflict or discuss at length and in great detail exactly how and why Iran abuses the human rights of childran, contrary to international human rights legislation.

For a little extra fun, I'd switch my phone to loud and have a friend text me every five minutes. That would make the stupid, ugly person feel, well, stupid (and unpopular).

Alternatively, if you know a second language just speak in your second language all evening to confuse your dumb date. You could even say insulting things about them and they wouldn't understand! Ok, you couldn't do the in depth discussion of current affairs, but this could be even more of a laugh. I'd speak Spanish lol "Creo que eres muy feo y estúpido y no quiero estar aquí contigo esta noche. Diós mío ¡nuestro camarero es muy caliente!" (I think you're really ugly and stupid and I don't want to be here with you this evening. Oh my God, our waiter is really hot!) Just to piss them off you could speak to the waiter in English but always speak to your blind date in a second language.

Even if staying the course is terrible, you get a meal out of it!

Silly question. If I were in a situation that I didn't want to be in, and had no valid reason to stay in, then I would leave.

It's not "cutting and running" if you make an informed choice based on the long term consequences.

Blindly sticking to an earlier decision, made on different facts and assumptions is no better than blinding turning and abandoning a plan just because it's not what you expected.

Oh. You were making an analogy. How clever. But the answer is the same.

You look at what the benefits and costs are of staying, and what the benefits and costs are of leaving, and you make an informed decision about what to do next.

It's the people who are unwilling or unable to re-evaluate their decisions in light of new information who always end up making fatal mistakes.

so, you are one of the rude ones that would leave her somewhere.....you should stay the course....and never see her again, if that is the way you feel, doesn't mean you can't have fun.....Hell, ask the women you ahve blind dates with....they probably cut it short, but I am sure they stayed to the end

Ha! This happened to me before! I met a girl online... she was so sweet. A couple days later I asked for her phone #... we talked for 3 hours on the phone... GREATsexy voice...AWESOME. Shesaidshe was a chef. OK.. sounded good. Sent me her pic... VERY NICE figure. Turned out she lived 1 mile from me... I picked her up on our blind date and she was 60 lbs heavier... turns out she gained ALL that weight right after graduating chef university! HAHAHA... I still took her out on the date, but made it short and took her for ICE CREAM... Every fat girl loves ice cream dont they?

Ohhh and another blind internet date.... nice voice, nice photo... sweeet gal.... met her in person at.....Bed Bath and Beyond.... Was strange looking in person and had a weird disposition so I told her I had to go to the bathroom. I walked quickly out the front exit and hopped in my '68 mustang, revved up the engine to speed away and she was standing directly behind my car! I was sooo freaked out! STALKER!

Ditch the gal before its too late!!!!
