be honest. you'll be amazed at how your parents will step up to the plate. their initial reaction will probably be anger or disappointment but if you tell them what's going on it will show them that you respect yourself and them.

Please provide more details..are you a teenager? Adult?
I am sorry to hear about the jerky boyfriend..message me if you need to talk about it. My boyfriend kicked me out of the house when I was at six months pregnancy(2 weeks ago)..but I am 28 years old, so I am not really worried about the repercussions of telling family members at this point. However, I was 16 when I got pregnant with my first child..and had to tell my father, which was hardest of all. I waited until I was about 3 months, and then broke it to him and my grandparents. My mom was supportive from the beginning.
Will there be a negative or violent reaction, do you think? You should tell someone soon so that you can get the health care that you need.

are you sure your pregnant? how old are you? I'm not gonna judge if your really young it's just if your older than 14 you can go to the doctor and get a blood test done without them telling your parents! and if you are then you can think of telling them. Well good luck hun!

Me Again, Baby Duke. Remeber your parents love you, no matter what it might seem. And they will be there for you. The situation you are in right now, is one that millions of women have been over history...even Cleopatra. You can handle this with a little support & love from families, and friends, and a dose of prayer.

if you don't know how you got knocked up, you shouldn't be having sex! How old are you?? Anyway, I would sit down with them and tell them that you have something very important to tell them. And just say it...the sooner they know, the better it will be. You should also let the father know that you are pregnant, if he doesn't know already.

just sit them down and be honest with them...they might get mad but they will get over it (my mom did and I was 20 going on 21 when I got pregnant)
