I already have this question on the books and authors page, and here it is again...

I'm writing a book (novel) for young adults. I need advice on these names for my two main characters.

Holly Lakefield: Sarcastic, witty, sort of a smart a$$. But afraid on the inside.

Adam Faylson: Quiet, thoughtful, intuitive and kind. But sort of dark, I guess you'd say.

Give honest, but not rude, thoughts please.

Quita: Those are nice names, but I'm trying to go a little less "mainstream".

The name Holly Lakefield seems very "all American".

I think Adam Faylson would be better as Adam Flayson ... Faylson is a mouth full!

I like the last names but the first names nope Holly's more of a party mane and Adam reminds me of a mommy's boy.
For the girls name try Crystal, Amber
For The guy name something like Justin

I think the names are too parochial, but that's just me
