I asked this once to a deaf person and it kind of freaked them out. They asked me if what I meant was: do they have a "concious"?

Everybody has a voice in their head. What is the voice? It's our own voices. We talk to ourselves all the time. It's also correct to say that it is the voice of our conscience. Deaf people are deaf, but their nerves are in perfect condition.

Just like the voice in our head is in whatever language we speak and understand, a deaf person's "voice in their head" would use the same language they use: sign language. So, in a way, it wouldn't really be a voice. A deaf person I once knew said when he dreamed, it was in sign language.

If you've never heard a voice you can't have one in your head - it's something that is beyond your experience. A conscience is something different being a moral motivator which can be instilled from the rules you learn. So I doubt that a deaf person can have a voice in their head - sound is alien to them.

It is like a blind person, depends if they got the disability later in life or at birth. At birth they cannot comprehend some things. If it happens after they still have gifts acquired previously to disability. For example it's not uncommon for the blind or deaf to dream and hear like they were before the disability.

yes they do,it's a concious voice that tell them things, but not all of them do,some develop this voice,it's like something or someone telling you that you are not alone when someone is lurking behind, they tend to react to the voice,by asking who is there?

Yes, they think and can determine what's right and wrong just like those that can hear. Most likely, the voice doesn't sound like them. I can hear, and mine doesn't sound like me either. This voice is beyond speech. It guides ou through life and you need to pay attention to it.

I would say yes, because language can be read without speaking it. Also, not all languages represent sounds with their letter - i.e. chinese.
