I am beginning to form a sort of theory (If you want to call it that) of our purpose as humans. Why were we created diversely and differently? Perhaps the purpose is for ethnic groups to bond together in an attempt to save his or her own race. Through history we have experianced that racial mixture does not seem to work, because no matter what there is always racism, sterotypes, etc. By building our country's economy, we are furthur helping an imminient war; the war to end mankind.

If you think I am crazy or whacko, I assure you I am not. I am simply a teenager who is forced to think about things...because with knowledge comes thought. I am very confused about the makings of humans and the purpose of our existance. Please agree, disagree, question, or comment! I look forward for any ideas!

Do we have to have a purpose, can't we merely exist and try and enjoy the ride while here, and trying to be the kindest, honest, compassionate person possible. Look at the world and learn - gad why do people do that-I am not going to do that--whatever it may be. A good way to learn.

I would like to know why you think that history shows us that mixing races doesn't work. When, where? I would say segregating races causes more problems-Apartheid is a perfect example. Hitler's Germany.is another When someone is oppressed long enough, they will rise up strong with a good powerful voice.

There will always be some kind of racism, or stereotypes because we are flawed creatures, no one is perfect - but unfortunately with that imperfection comes the desire to put others down, to boost our own self-worth. Hence, races gets put-down, religions, personal appearance, the list is endless.

Keep on thinking, it's quite nice to meet a thinking teenager....YAY!!!

You seem to be questioning "diversity" more than the purpose of the human race. Imagine if the only food on this planet was the acorn. Every human and every creature had to eat acorns. The humans would harvest the food supply and the animals would all die (theoretically speaking). That's a simple explanation as to the importance of diversity. The climates in this world are all different. People of different skin colors originally inhabited areas of the world where their skin color helped them adapt in their climates.

You can't say that racial mixture always end of in disaster. Their are many racially mixed communities that live in harmony. The different races have developed a knowledge and understanding of those around them, and knowledge promotes acceptance. It's "ignorance" that usually causes racism. If a white child was told his whole life that black people are all criminals and he should stay away from them, that's what he will believe - that's what he learned.

I have a totally different belief about this topic.
Be prepared it will probably not be a very popular belief.

This belief is from an atheists perspective.

With this in mind I believe that a purpose for our existence doesn't exist. The human race was an accident. When you place yourself as being separate from the human race you see a race which can be compared to a colony of roaches. We breed, we multiply, we use up resources which are needed for survival without a care for future generations. We don't care about our fellow man. We go through life striving to make things easier on ourselves and to hell with the rest of our race. We rob, we steal and kill each other. While the ones who don't rob, steal, and kill look on and condemn with disgust and a better then thee attitude. These are the people who think it is OK to make just any old laws to control the actions of the rest of the race around them.

Therefore, if you take God out of the picture we exist only to exist.

ok dude, you have to consider the fact that the cause of different ethnic groups is people in ancient times spread out all over the world and formed their own culture because they were very isolated from other cultures. Now we are more connected than ever. Form a new hypothesis.

and Im sorry but you cannot call yourself educated and beleive in theisism. Also, you sound a little pretenscious "with knowledge comes thought" well you know what? knowledge is ONLY a popular beleife. Grow up some more and study more philosophy.

Personally I don't think we all have a common purpose. Our differences add to our uniqueness and therefore that alone allows us to chose our own paths. I think our purpose is defined by what we each want to accomplish in life. For some of us that can be growing spiritually and bonding with god or for some thats getting the executive job and making the executive money. Humans are put onto this earth for interaction and learning new things or rather experiencing things. Frankly I think our purpose is just living the best life we can with the little time we've got. Its about just enjoying the simple fact of being alive and given the chance that you can touch, feel, taste, smell and hear all thats going on around you and its about day to day survival and trying to find a way to live another day. I think its all about our inner soul's need to just live. Simply live the life its been granted.

There will always be racial mixing, and many races we have now are just large groups of racially mixed people. There are many south americans that have an asian appearance. Hawaiians, Phillipinos, and many south Asian people come from a great diverse mix of races. What most people may call "eskino" is a mix of asian, caucasian, and native american. There are endless mixes of race all over the world. There is no conclusive evidence for certain that we did not just originate from 2 or 3 races, and everything is pretty much a mix in between. With the world becoming so accessible to people, racial makeups all over the world are getting further mixed. We will one day simply be a middle brown color.

I, too, would like to know the purpose of our existance, but I'm not so sure that is what it is. Ethnic groups aren't really bonding. We try to do that in America, but, like you said, no mattter what there is always racism, sterotypes, etc. It just won't work.

If there is a god, maybe we were created for a sort of entertainment... or maybe it was just the result of science and we really don't have a 'purpose' per say...

I just don't know, but you have some really good thinking. Oh, by the way, we can't get to your blog... it isn't a link. Sorry...

OK. Understand this race is nothing! It is just like calling two cats different races because one is a tabby and another a siamese. Humans can interbreed therefore they are the same species be they small or big, black or white.
Diversity of color, size, stamina, ability to make their own vitamin D, or hair is all just variations in the theme that is the Homo Sapiens sapiens race.
We are all one race. Anything else is just nonsense. It gives some people an excuse to kill other people.

Whats wrong with the word created? Yeesh that "Gay Jesus" guy just likes to erk people. The funny thing is by choosing to make fun of Jesus he is still acknowledging he exists. Would it not be worse to deny his existence?

I digress. To your question friend.

If you study evolutionary theory you see that skin tones could be a direct result of climate (I say could because evolution is a theory not a fact). Black people have dark skin because the African continent is largely covered in desert and plains with high sun exposure. Statistically speaking black people have less reported cases of skin cancer then any other race. So the dark skin could be a natural defense against skin cancer, evolved to fit their environment.

People fear what they do not understand and mock and laugh at all that they do not want to accept (i.e. "Gay Jesus"). People grow up around one race and accept it then get stirred in with another race or religion and they feel resistant because their skin tone and culture is different.

Generations before us fought for equality, the best thing that you can do is love and accept diversity because if you go around hating everyone thats gay, black, chinese, christian, muslim, atheist, buddhist etc. your not going to have alot of friends. And as a Christian I can tell you this: you'll burn in hell for it.

I dont know what to say... I dont think this is even a theory! You think
ethnic groups bonding together in an attempt to save his race is the only reason of humans race? Sorry but it's too shallow for me...
