I agree, picassa is cool but I've used microsoft digital image suite 10...and before that 9 for ages now...it's very easy to use and fairly inexpensive. look for it on Amazon as i think your probably in the States and I'm not sure how much it would be in dollars. I got mine a few years back on a special for about £25, reduced from £75. It has a good red-eye reduction tool and auto fix features for exposure, lighting and many others. As you become more experienced it can grow with you as you can start to manually adjust all aspects of your photos. Including all kinds of special effects...and clip art..it's a complete package for not much money.

Kodak easyshare is free and works great for simple editing. You can lighten, enhance, get rid of red eye, change to black & white, sepia tone, ect.... This is a really good program and absolutely free. I purchased a Kodak camera and they work great together. If you don't have a camera go to Kodak.com and you can download the software.

try picasa .. i guess this software will let you edit directly on the web
but adobe photoshop it better for desktop photo editing
