I've been with a man for the past two years. He says that smoking weed and drinking beer kills his desire to kiss and be affectionate although it hasn't affected his sexual drive at all. Is he for real or am I the fool?

The best thing about smoking weed and drinking beer is it gives you an inbuilt excuse for everything.....
Q. why don't you kiss me any more?
A. I'm too stoned to care
Q. why don't you help out around the house a bit more
A. I'm too pissed to care
Q.why don't you take me out anywhere
A. well I spent all my money on beer and weed and can't afford to take you out.
Honestly, addicts are notoriously selfish, self centred, manipultive and controlling. Keeping you in a state of want or need is great way to keep you around and control you.
Do your self a favour! Let him go and move right along now.

I do believe that kissing someone that smokes or does weed in this caes is like kissing an ash tray but I am sure you have heard that before but it is so true. Also affectionation can be harmed by abuse of weed and drinking.

I've never smoked weed, but I know that when I drink beer, or alcohol of any kind....it makes me MUCH more affectionate than I usually am. The same goes for my boyfriend. I think it's just the way your body reacts to alcohol or drugs....
I don't think it's you...I think that maybe he's tellng the truth. Hard to know for sure though

On the contrary, I've found that it's a great aphrodisiac.....Any guy I've been with who've used either has been great...
