gay stereotypes come from non-gays. A gay person would know that these stereotypes are limited to time and place as they are just human like you and I.

no. you don't have to be happy all the time....reguardless of your gayness or nongayness....you have moods just like other people....& your mood will tell you how to feel.
the "happy" idea comes from the original meaning of the word....
Gay....ment Happy or joyful...until it was attatched to the homosexuals...in the late 70's-early 80's
give Webster a gander & see the actual meaning.
As for the other stereotypes....TV has alot to do with it.
