it takes them bout 4 weeks 2 grow then another 4 them 2 bloom. i grew some once. try watering them every other day instead of every day. it'll work. go 2 this link 4 more info.

Most stop blooming after the spring. The Chinese variety might give you a longer blooming season.

This has been a bad year for everyone.. from plants: flowers, vegetables.. fruit and shade trees. The only thing that doesn't seem to be effected are the darn weeds!
Someone mentioned dead-heading.. very good point.

Have you tried fertilizer? At Lowe's they have a fertilizer called Bloom Booster. It helps blooming plants.

Most variaties die out in July and seeds should be collected by then. Others, if you do not dead head them,the bloom period will be short

numerous success! they are incredibly hardy, and that i've got been attempting to do away with them for 3 years. They unfold throughout! they are no longer enormously for long, and actually clog up my small beds.
