If I were you I would stay either in Wells, ME or Kennebunkport, ME and just drive to OOB.

Try the Atlantic Birches Inn. Its a gorgeous bed & breakfast. Reasonable price, wonderful owner who knows everything about the area, fantastic breakfasts. Its actually more reasonable than many of the other hotels in the area and is much nicer.

i was there last sept right on the beach great place i don.t remenber the hotel but you well love it .i found it in a maine guide .

I've always had luck with Hotels.com, but they kill you with charges if you cancel, otherwise, great deals.
