Because most babies sleep for about 15 hours a day....unfortunately they sleep the 15hrs we're awake.....terrors.

I'm thinking that it is more about how peaceful they LOOK when they do finally go to sleep.
People enjoy the fantasy that children are innocent and we can somehow protect and preserve that innocence, and that is a good thing.
I think it is too bad that we can't stay innocent, that someone will take advantage of us.On the other hand, an innocent child is destined to be a victim unless they get savvy quick.

new born babys need feeding about every 4 hours but when they are a little older they sleep loads , mine aged 18 months sleeps 12 hours all the time

yeah that confuses me maby cuz some ppl snore and my friend (whose 12) has a baby sister that sleeps in her room and sheb is really gd she only wakes up when my friend drops something hard on the floor
