Sirius radio (and XM too... but I'm biased to Sirius since thats what I have) has totally replaced my am/fm radio. I have Sirius in my house and in my car.... and I use an ipod the rest of the time. The Sirius is great cuz no matter where I am in the US I have the same channels.. i don't hage to worry about loosing my channel and having to locate my favorite types of music when I'm in a different location. Aside from that, I can program it to tell me when a song I want to heat comes on... with normal radio they play the same 10 songs inbetween 30 min of commercials. Its annoying and unenjoyable. Radios biggest problem is the FCC controlling what is said. Sirius is great becasue I hear a song the way it was ment to be heard.. not a butchered up version. Its amazing what regular radio can do to a rap song. Even talk radio is very bland. Howard Stern used to be outragous, enjoyable, and shocking.... but grabbed HUGE ratings. His last year on radio was dismal... still high ratings... but hearing an interview was sometimes impossible with all that had to be bleeped out. I gladly pay for radio to have uncencored music, a variety of music, and no commercials.... regular radio can't offer any of that!
