No, we don't have many of those in Florida...plus it's too hot...and I'm broke. When I lived in Washington I went to the Puyallup fair every year though. I suppose I'll go to our little Octoberfest this fall, but the only good thing there is the Gravitron...it's a really small festival. Have fun!!

In a way, i was a *part* of the fair last weekend.
It was called "Folk Days", and is one of the annual events at the place where i work.
And at the end of the month we have the "Agricultural Fair".....so that will make *two* fairs for me this summer.
Oops, make that *three* fairs: the last weekend of the year we have the "Thanksgiving Festival" (October 07 - 09).
Too bad you live so far away, i bet you'd really enjoy yourself here.
(No 19'th Century Heavy Metal music, unfortunately.....unless you happened to *invent* it while you were here.....!)

No. The Kentucky State Fair starts on August 17th. I'll be there to check out everything and have a pork chop sandwich and an elephant ear.

yea i have been to the fair. but the fair in my state was July 21 - 29. i went the 23, 25 and the 29 w/ my friends!

its too hot down south to have a fair during summer months. they usuallu come around in the fall. i do not attend the fair, bunch of rotten kids and stupid teenagers and too many cops.
