It would have to be monopoly for a number of reasons. It taught me to be competitive, honesty, how to handle money, how to be a good sales person as well as a good banker. I've seen people try to cheat to win, I've seen a lot of poor sports, I've seen alot of bad tempers, and I've learned how to be patient and giving and how to share. I've also seen alot of really good players. I am not a sore looser but I sure like to be on the winning team. Monopoly has alot of interesting facets to the game and I really enjoy playing it.

Scrabble and Monopoly. Why? Because I usually win. Scrabble needs a button to push for spell check though.

I love playing Wahoo. It's a game that is pretty much the same as Trouble. A lot of fun to play with family.

Chess. Each game requires strategy, anticipation and excellent planning. Few things are better than seeing the look on the face of your opponent when you take their queen.....

Risk. I adore this game for it's sheer brutality and sneakiness....not only that, but it makes people aware of countries they've sadly never heard of, such as Irkutsk (in Asia).

Monopoly. It realistically teaches money management and it explains the basics of real estate.
