Political Correctness is BS. Worse, it is an attempt at thought control. It is probably the worst invention of the 20th Century.

I am an Australian and yes, I believe he did deserve to be fired.
but I do not believe that he deserves the hatred that is being directed his way.

He made a stupid remark and rightly so he apologised for it.....
but he works for the media and in the media you can not make mistakes especially where the subject is as sensitive as it is.

I agree with you that political correctness is becoming over done...but you can not call someone.... anyone..... a terrorist purely because of their nationality or religion.

Hopefully others will learn from his unfortunate mistake.

he is treated too harsly,
it might even be my own view cause ilike that guy.
since i use to hate him most during his playday against india, flawless flamboyant and fast running , he was such a great cricketer
and overall may be he is the only aussie guy, who is friendly ith indian pakistan and lankan team, he would be last in term of racisim . he was the first person to say sorry, we should never forget that and how bad he feels after this "MISTAKE" . and thats the whole point we are humen and we all commit mistakes.
i guess the only person in the world who can sack him should be the one " WHO NEVER COMMITED A MISTAKE i.e. " nobody"
i wish i could do something for him.

Dean Jones is lucky to have a career. Don Knotts and even that damned VW were better actors than he is.
