Even when I call ticket master in the first seconds of a concert going on sale I get seats half way out the door. How can I get good tickets without paying scalpers an arm and a leg?

Wait until closer to the show, too. Venues always hold back "production" seats. These are usually in the first 20 rows and sometimes are not released until the night of the show. Yes, it is a risk because they do not always become available, but I have been very lucky in getting great seats this way. I am always prepared to have to grab tix from a scalper if good ones are not available at the box office. Sometimes the box office says none are available, and 5 minutes later, good seats are released. If you can't get them at the box office, it is usually so close to concert time that prices come down from scalpers. If I am not able to get in the first 15-20 rows from ticketmaster as they go on sale, I wait. I have actually gotten FRONT ROW seats to sold out shows at the box office, the night of the show. GOOD LUCK!

Try to listen to radios who give them out. That's what I did and I got first row tickets.
