Some real estate companies do office tours as part of their regular sales meetings. These tours are usually exclusively of listings that belong to that company. For instance, Coldwell Banker agents would not usually tour Re/Max listings. Some Realtors will "preview" listings as part of their business plan. For instance, if they are specialists in a certain neighborhood or subdivision, they will take a look at all listings (not just those of their brokerage) in order to know what's on the market for their buyers. The day of the week they do this will vary based on their own schedule. If you want to maximize your exposure in listing your home for sale, I always advise clients to put it on the market on a Friday. That way, it's brand new on the market for the weekend, when most buyers are out looking at homes. This is especially good if coupled with an open house over the weekend!

Probaly different in eachcommunity, but yes, the multiple listing board in your area most likely designates a particular to tour the new listings. It's to everyone's advantage.

It depends where you live, here it's Tuesday. Call your local Realtor association and ask when they do a broker open house tour.

Usually every Wed. It's called caravan day and they look at all the new listings in their general area.
