Would you rather live to age 50 rich or age 75 below average?

Of course we all want to live to 125 filthy stinking rich but that's not the question.

I think that I'd rather live to 75 and not be rich.

I don't want to live to 125, much less 75. I don't have to be rich either, but I'd like to have more $ than what I have. If I had to make a choice I'd live to the age of 50, be rich and pass it on to my child, and come back and haunt those who have wronged me.

50, Rich! - Think of it this way, if your earnings were below average you would struggle your whole life, and not age very well and then where would you be once you could not earn anymore? You wouldn't be able to provide for yourself or your family, you wouldn't be able to live comfortably, cleanly or even afford any medicines you needed. At 50 you are still very much able to walk around, look after yourself and live actively - you don't have the weaknesses and dependency associated with old age.

So I'd much rather be rich and not make it to old age!

I'd rather live to 75 below average. I've been in both places, right now I am below average and I actually love the adventure, and feeling. Money definitely is not everything and it has made me look at life differently and I feel a truer happiness than I ever knew when I had money and everything I thought I could possibly want.

Since I've lived a rich life & 56, I'll try to stick around another twenty years & inquire about the 100 rich/125 below average. ;)

how rich is "rich"? if i was like a billionaire then age 50 rich.

but other than that i would want to live to age 75, and have lots of close friends and relatives
