I got this new job at a warehouse, I have alot of work experience in the past, but not a warehouse. is there anyone every worked at warehouse loading and unloading who can give me some tips

Listen to the person that's training you.
Dont tell them you understand something when you dont. Dont be afraid to tell them repeat themselves to make sure you have it.

Have them check behind you to see if the job was done correctly.
Follow the safety rules, wear protective gear thats required.

Don't be late. That's a huge one for employers. Also make sure you ask questions if you don't understand something, better ask right when you think of it than look like a dumbass later. Kiss a little @ss... everybody on top had to kiss some bottom to get there. Might as well start. Just be friendly and sociable the fact that you care so much before you even start pretty much says you will do fine! Good luck!

Don't sign for anything delivered that is damaged, unless you are told to, then you right "Accepted Damaged" on the lading.


Other than that, it's a pretty cool place to work.

Relax, be yourself and go with the flow. Nobody learns anything on the first day, and on the 2nd you will allready feel wellcome and at home. Enjoy yourself.
