What are the best and worst songs to sing at karaoke?

BEST: Moon River - it was written with Audrey Hepburn's restricted vocal range in mind, so you shouldn't struggle with it, plus it's very relaxing - you won't get too tense on stage.

WORST: Everybody Hurts - It justs brings the mood of the room down!

I'd have to say the best I've ever done is "Time to say goodbye" - Andrea bocelli and Sarah brightman.

I sung it with my ex in a pub just for a laugh. We both are capable of operatic songs. The pub went really quiet. When we finished, everyone commented on it.

The worst i've heard is "Ebony and Ivory" - Paul McCartney and Stevie wonder. Sung by a black guy in west london.
When he got up to sing, I thought this was going to be good. Most afro carribeans have great voices. I was wrong. He shouted the whole song. He managed to get through the entire song without singing a single note correctly.

It's best to stick to songs that are actually on the machine. May seem a tad obvious, but I was in a pub in Bristol not long ago when a chap kept asking for obscure folk songs that weren't on the menu, then inisited on singing them anyway, to completely different music. It was an, er, interesting night.

can'y stand "Torn" by Natalie Imbrulia If you are in a lower key try "i am the one and only" Chesney Hawks. If you are more soprano try "Let's stay together" Al Green or Tina Turner version. Good Luck If your really bad they will only take your trousers down. Remember to wear underwear !!!
