shave it off, she may not like it but it is your head. Also hair grows back so quickly so even if you do not like it, you know it will come back.

It is almost sure that your wife will be upset, maybe mad at you if you go against her will with no propper reason (carefull..wemen don't have the same logic so might not consider your motif a propper reason). You must decide if it worths a fight and a disturbance in your family peace.
On the other hand, your urge might have a reason like serious discomfort or an illness of your head skin. Usually your body reacts like this when something is wrong. Make a simple check with your doctor. A simple cream or speacial shampoo might get you read of this urge. Be sure that you'll have your wifes full support if it's a medical reason.
If you want to do this because you think it's sexyer this way or fits you better talk this with your wife. For who do you want to be sexy but your wife anyway? :)

My boyfriend did that. It was really an accident though. I was cutting his hair for a job interview and handed him the clippers to clean out the clogged hair. He accidently put the attatchment back on...down all the way. So I didn't bother to look cuz I thought he put it back on the right number. And I started shaving and it cut off all the hair in one section before I noticed. He had to shave his head. His hair grew back fast though. I didn't mind it shaved, but he looks better with hair. I say ask a stylist what he/she thinks would look best. But if your wife doesn't like it ...why do it? She's your wife ...although it is your head. It's a toss up. Would you rather have short hair and a loving wife....or a bald head and ...a couch to sleep on til your hair grows back? lol

Why are you shaving it, what is your influence?
Are you fearing baldness, maybe pulling an Andre Agassi?
Have an interest in swimming?
As long as your reason is generally decent... :)
I imagine your wife will love you regardless, but it's fair to say she really would not like it that way.
My honest opinion is that you do not cut it. It may seem odd or silly that she is so opposed, but brother think, there's many things you can do for your wife, your partner in life, and if not shaving your head is one of them, I think it's well worth it.

Well you wouldn't want her holding off other things like sex. So if you can handle a week of no sex because you wanted a bald head, then go ahead. However, in less than 3 days, you'll have hair again. It isn't pretty after 4 days, because it's just in between. Good luck!

Shave it, just remember it is a temporary thing and it will grow back so you can tell your wife it's just a trial basis. You will notice though that your head will get cooler, hair does keep a lot of body heat in.

I have the same issue. My wife doesn't think that I have the right head shape to go bald and that I would look "funny" but she said the same thing about my mustache too....and it's gone. The fact is, if you are asking this question, you have doubts of your own. Your wife is only bringing those doubts to the forefront. You need to make up your mind about what you want to do. its your head afterall and you are going to have to be the one to live with the decision.

What's it to her? Ask her to come and help you shave it. I help my boyfriend all the time and he looks so hot with a shaved head, it truly never goes out of style. She might be mad for a minute unless she married you for your hair. She will get over it and love it in the long run. I say go for it!!

Your wife will get over it and it will grow back, however, if you have kids, it might freak them out. My husband shaved his mustache once and looked so different, out daughter was afraid of him. She had nothing to do with him until it grew back.
Don't be too selfish, you will be bald soon enough.

I love my husband to have a full head of hair, but I understand that there are times you just want to get rid of it. Heck, there are times I'd love to shave mine off cause it gets too hot.
She might be mad but only for a minute.
Tell her you are Mr. Clean and you would like to take her into the bedroom and polish her up.
Have fun.

as long as you have the right shaped head. But if you already go with a 1 or 2, then you'd know.
Why don't you just try cutting it with out a gaurd on it. That's what I do. At least that way, you can ease her into it.
Plus, razor burn on the head doesn't feel good
