I had this friend in 6th grade who we had this thing where we would give each other presents like everyday just for a thing and one day I opened my present and guess what I found out she stole it. It didnt surprise me though she was in juvi forever and all I did was just never did talk to her again and she got the picture that I knew she stole but yeah I just said it did u steal from someone because I didnt want to accept a stolen gift I would feel guilty. so yeah I just told her and she got mad but it was better if we wernt friends in the first place. So just say it maybe it would scare them(if they did steal) to never steal because someone knew to go tell on them and maybe he/she just would know that its not good to steal and that u would like them better if they did not steal. well I hoped a helped just a little bit. good luck! Bye

You keep an eye on them. If you feel there's a problem, you are probably right.

You also don't leave valuables out in the open...if someone is sticky-fingered, the temptation may be too great to resist.

If you catch them in the act of stealing from you, then you confront them. They aren't that great of a friend if they don't feel they can approach you and ask for help or money or whatever. That is what you do.

i'd leave something invaluable laying around w/only u and that person around and if it goes missing then u got ur culprit... u need to approach them.. it ain't got nothing to do w/not trusting them.. that's ur stuff.. and u shouldn't have to be hiding anything or feel like u don't want to hurt their feelings because guess what, that's ur stuff that's going missing mysteriously... u have a right to question anyone in ur house when ur stuff goes missing..

good luck

just say ''do you know who stole my ____?''
works every time
