If people say that hate america and what we stand for, why are there so many visa applications and illegal immigrants trying like heck to get to america and participate in the system firsthand?

Oh Yah! They feed off of us and our tax dollars and spit us out! Tryly UNGRATEFUL people. Sadly they are raising their children to passionatley hate our government and people as well. We should close our borders for many many reasons! 1. Being disease (HIV, etc.) 2. Being we spend our $ and resources to teach foreigners our language in schools for children and the adults it is rediculous, press 1 for english and 2 for espan`olSee Arizona, New Mexico etc.) 3. They hate us and are ungrateful and lie about our governments history. 4. There is a security risk, we are at war. 5. Canada just kicked out all of it's illegal immagrants why can't the US do what is best for it's self? ALSO stop student visa's that IS mostly where muslim extremists come from!-and work visas! Oh well that did not sound nice- I'm sorry...

"People" may say they hate the United States, but "immigrants" don't. "Immigrants" come here for a better way of life; and I expect most of them find it and tell other hopeful "immigrants." Meanwhile, "people" still hate us because: 1) envy; 2) other "people" tell them to hate us; 3) they were turned down in attempts to be "immigrants; or 4) other reasons beyond my comprehension.
I've read that other countries have immigration problems ... France, Germany, and even Mexico (with folk coming in from the south); each country has its own way of dealing with it.
Yes, we are hated, but not by everybody. Like the Russian comic in Branson still says, "America - what a COUNTRY!"

You have asked the best question yet. Why come to a country where you don't like the rules, example: in America learn to speak English, if you want to take from Social Security System you should have had to put into it for a period of years, if you live here then you need to militarily serve for this country.

Ask the Muslims, Buddhists, etc. why they came here. If their countries and religions are so great why is there so much poverty, disease and discord in their home countries? If America is so bad why did they choose to move to a mostly Christian country? A country founded on Christian values. Most of them have chosen to come here legally, which means they had to do a lot of work, over a long period of time, to come here and become citizens. God blessed our nation because of our Christian beliefs. The further we retreat from Him the more problems we have.

Good question! Part of the reason why is because the U.S. places itself on a high pedistal and constantly bombards the rest of the world with its good guy image. While of course, never showing its bad side. Immigrants who are generally more pro-U.S. never really see the uglier side of the United States until they reach the shores.

P.S. This the explanation we never hear in the mainstream media.

Although the people in our country are lazy and ignorant, there are perks to being an American. You can get on welfare and you can get a well-paying job. I still want to move out of the country, though.
