Yep, it's true. A tornado can go into a body of water, scoop up a bunch of fish and drop the fish somewhere else.

Fish have been known to drop from the sky. It was said that they were picked up during a tornado and carried inside it until it went back into the sky then dropped them over land somewhere else. I don't know all the technical terms for it.I'm not sure how true this is but its what I've heard.

True. Possible Yes, probabe no.
I have seen fish jump out of the water and thereby jump into boats, etc. Fying fish have wings to glide thru the air and have also been known to fly onto boats.
Now unexplained fish on land? That's a lot tougher. However if tornados can lift cows I don't see why hurricanes couldn't transport fish to strange places.

Fish can be anywhere. Maybe angels screwed up a game of Hungry Hungry Hippos and their games pieces (the fish, substitutes for marbles) flew from the board. Who knows, the world is mysterious.

I had a fish fall onto my soccer field during a game. We had to stop and pick it up before playing again. An osprey dropped it.

Yes.
When water spouts form over water they can suck up anything that's there. Since it's a tornado it can fling objects for miles.

Waterspouts (tornados over water) can pick up fish and deposit them on land.

Tornadoes has been know, to do this. Not only fishes but frogs too. :)
