I am 20 and like I always just do things that other people might consider immature or stupid. But I dont think they are immature or stupid at all. I thik they are hilarious. Like sometimes I take a coupon out of a coupon machine at a store, then try to reinsert it back into the machine, or go through that little cart door at wal mart. I also do things to annoy people when I know there is nothing they will/can do. Like annoy people in yahoo chat rooms, or stand in the vicinty of my sister and make a beat by hiiting an empty plastic bottle against the wall and my head just because I know she will get mad and try to do something and I will laugh. I don't even know why I act like this. Maybe there is something wrong with me. I am actually even trying to get married to a guy who acts the same way I do. I would love to find someone like that. So I guess my question is is there anyone else who acts like the way I act? I just want to know if there is anyone else like that or if it is just me.

You have a serious problem with stunted emotional growth.

It's going to come to the time, that as in a previous answer, someone with a short fuse, is going to clean your clock, for you.
And you won't be telling the time, either. You'll be on the ground, sucking up dirt.

I hope for everyone's sake that has to be around you, that you Do find someone just like you. You deserve it.

I think you're extremely immature and have a lot of growing up to do. I would consider your behavior to be anti social and it seems to me that you are terminally bored and so you find ways to amuse yourself by annoying others. It might get a laugh now, but think about how others see you. They probably don't have much respect for you and they probably don't care to be around you. The fact that you say you don't know why you act this way leads me to believe that there are some deeper issues that you haven't dealt with and these issues find a way out in your behavior. As Socrates said, "An unexamined life is not worth living" So really take a look at your behavior and ask yourself why you act that way. And then sit down with your mother and talk about it and tell her you don't like the way you're behaving and you want it to stop. And also, there's nothing wrong with seeing a therapist. And by the way, if you found a fiance who behaves just as you do, your marriage is headed for BIG TROUBLE.

There are many people just like you and it's not immature. It's worse.

You have an abusive personality but you are too timid to do anything 'dangerous' so you take advantage of people when you know they can't/won't respond. By choosing your situations carefully, you give yourself a feeling of power/dominance over the other person because society restrains the responce they can make to your actions. Simply put, you are hiding behind the skirts of society.

However, it is possible (although I don't think it happens often) that you will truly piss someone off and he/she will beat the sh-t out of you. Then you will stop acting like a sh-thead and allow other people to live their happy lives and you can concentrate on making your own life happy rather than making other people miserable.

Have I helped?

Dude, I use to be just like you. Its called being rebellious and its a stage that you will grow out of, even tho it may not feel like you will. I did.

Realize, its a sign that you are not getting enough attention, so, you are trying to get it any way you can. Its natural and we all do it in some way or another. Its a function of being a human.

You will find that you will always have the desire to get attention, however, your means of getting the attention will change as you get older.

Theres lots of immature annoying twits such as yourself, you need to grow up, I think your fooling around is something that covers up an insecurity you have, you feel the need to over compensate possibly to take attention away from some other quality you don't like about yourself. But yes there are plenty of other sociopaths like yourself.

Yes, there are others like you. I saw one on People's Court the other day. He'd sprayed his roommate with a fire extinguisher. When the roommate got out of the hospital, he beat the crap out of the joker. It was not the first time the joker had been beaten up for his stupid stunts. Maybe he's available for you.

I'm 23 and I like doing stupid stuff too. Last week I accidentally dropped a bottle of beer on my sisters kitchen floor and it didn't smash so I dropped it again to see what happened. Am I worse than you? I don't know, all I know is my sis was cool about it until I told her what I had actually done. :)

yeah, you are getting a little too old to get of on stuff like that. Either you are starved for attention or just can,t stand seeing someone be happy so you try to make them miserable. Maybe one day one of them will do something about it , like kick your immature butt an that will make you grow up!

You are trying to get attention. You must have not have been given enough when you were a child. People often act out to gain attention even if it is the negative kind. Build your confidence and you won't need to attract attention from people.

I think a lot of people have the same impulses you do, they just choose to control them because they enjoy being respectable and having a sense of dignity more than satisfying a peculiar urge.
