I think most of the answers cover your question 2 hrs depending on the flow...the flow will vary from the start to finish of your period. Heavier to start. It make take a few trys to find a pad you are happy with and suits your underwear. That's a personal choice hun. Perhaps, if you can get them, you can buy a box of mixed pads for different times of your period. Everthing down the line to panty liners for when it tails off. You will get to know your body after a while and the heaviness/lightness and length of your period. It may take several months to settle into a regular pattern. Keep yourself fresh inbetween changes with some feminine wipes. Hygene is important during your period. Good luck young lady...

Let your comfort level and your sense of fastidiousness be your guide. Naturally the pads should be changed before they become saturated and leak on to your clothing. But they can be changed long before that if you feel it's necessary, just to make you feel fresher. No hard and fast rules on the subject. It's mainly a matter of personal hygiene. Is this your first period? Otherwise, I can't imagine why you wouldn't know when it's time to change. Wearing a pad too long, even if it isn't soaked, can result in an unpleasant odor.

it depends on the pads and how heavy your period is.
You should probably change when it starts to feel heavy our your in the bathroom and notice that some spots are like full but an estimate time is 2 to 3 hours

when i first got mine, i change it every time i went into bathroom, it's so troublesome and tiring. now I only change when i feel the pad is quite full / wet, 3-4 times a day on heavy-flow days.

I think you can wear them for about 3 hours before you change them

You wear them until they are soaked, not jut a little bit but enough to wear you think you should. I am crazy about it and change mine all the time. You'll get an idea how your flows are and then you'll know how and when to change them..
