Unlikely, but if it helps you get thru the day, then feel free to believe it.

It is almost impossible to suggest that there isn't a planet like Earth somewhere else. Since there are an estimated 400 million galaxies that we know about, the chances of a similar planet not existing are minimal. The problem we have in proving this is that the nearest known galaxy is untold light years away and therefore we will never know for sure.

To think that we are the only ones in the universe is naive. After everything that they teach us in Science, about how vast everything around us is, I say there has to be another planet just like our own, in fact thousands, and so on. We even had a talk about this in church of all places, on how the priest saw a program on the Discovery Channel on how we are just beginning to scratch the surface on the rest of our universe. We are constantly discovering new planets, and new moons, things of that nature. We aren't even familiar with everything in our own world, how are we supposed to know what lies out there, beyond that big blue sky.
About being reincarnated to one of those galaxies, it sounds like it could be true. But I'm not stating that it is. It's just that everything else in this life is a possibility, why not that.

Nope...your assumption is incorrect! Not all galaxies have planets of ANY kind...and most of the ones that do, are unlikely to have Earth-like conditions. So, for life to arise, it takes very special conditions. As to your suggestion about reincarnation, it may be possible that we come from or are going to a different planet in a different universe...or...in a different time on this one...this can only be speculation, not 'truth'...

Yes you are right. We all coming from different Planets of different Galaxies and converging on our planet Earth at a certain time. May be those planets will be destroyed or already destroyed. On the other hand those who are leaving our planet may be transported to other planets and bearing new civilisations. We are here only for a brief period of time , our world is a may transit point. So we are all alien in this world!!!

If so (that every galaxy would have one or more), then it is just as possible, actually more so, that a planet just like earth exists in our own galaxy. Therefore, you will know you are correct as soon as we discover a few in our own galaxy. =)
As far as reincarnation is concerned; well, it's an interesting idea. I would hazard to say that if reincarnation exists then I am sure it would be possible.

Hm, statistically it could be possible that another planet harbors life. There are millions of things out there. But I don't think that there is a planet exactly like Earth. They would have evolved with different influences, different people, could they even be called people? For a planet to be exactly like Earth, they would have to have an exact size sun, an exact sized planet, with the exact orbit and axis. The chances of that are very rare

Sounds like a bit of a random theory to me. Did you just make it up? It would be good if it's true because by the time we've finished completely destroying our planet, we might have found a way to get to another galaxy so we can go there and completely destroy someone elses planet too!

> So why merely on to us ? its like so a options away... is it magnet or something ? no longer magnetism: gravity. effortless gravitational attraction. > Is planet earth and the all and distinctive seems prepared or are we dont care and merely let the (existence) be non exsist and distroy impact ? we are talking about an adventure 3 million years contained in the destiny. I doubt something very equivalent to present day humanity will nonetheless exist at that distant element. in spite of everything, 3 million years, our organic and organic ancestors, the early hominids, fairly existed, and hadn't began evolving in the route of present day guy. Who is prevalent with what we would have advanced into 3 million years subsequently. Secondly, isn't something predicted to happen to existence in the international as a effect of this "impact." the celebrities in galaxies are few and far between, and galaxies in collision merely go by ability of one yet another with none effect on the ingredient stars. Our Milky way galaxy is at present in collision with 2 smaller galaxies; have you ever spoke of?

It's pretty ignorant to say that in a galaxy that is infinitely bigger than our own planet to think that no other body in space possesses similar if not the same qualities as ours. I have a feeling though that if there is life forms out there they will find us before we find them. I mean think about it on a scale of things. If travelling all the way across space was like walking around the world, humans have just gotten out of bed.

Why are you asking? Noone knows the answer to that, we can't travel into every other galaxy. If people are voting the best answer this is it. Noone knows. It's possible, thats all anyone can say. As far as that reincarnation junk goes, most likely not, I think thats a cop out for people who are afraid of embracing death.
