It sure wasn't 1812! Canada should have easily been a part of the U.S. by now, but for the incompetence of the Generals, and his overestimating the effectiveness of the Militia. Not to mention the battle of New Orleans was actually fought after the war was over. Pick like the Missouri Compromise or something.
