why aren't they talking to you? if it were my best friend, i would find out why and then ask myself what part I had in their decision to not talk to me. i would communicate an apology for whatever i have done, tell them i love them and wish them well. then it is up to them to respond or not, but at least my 'side of the street' is clean. good luck to you :)

I've moved several times and a couple of those were over 1000 miles away. If they won't talk to you because you're moving then they're not real friends. You'll find better friends in your new area. I wouldn't worry about it. I still talk to people from years ago back home, about 1500 miles away.

Well depending on the reason the friend won't talk to you it there could be a few answers. If the friend is upset thatyou are leaving you should plan a get to together and talk about all the good times you shared and wtie them down so you can each rememeber. If the friend is upset for other reasons you should just sit down and talk to resolve them. The only way to solve this is to talk face to face.

If they won't speak to you, write them a letter or send a card telling them how much their friendship means to you. Ask them if you did or said something that upset or hurt them and ask if you can make up. If they don't answer then it's best you forget about this relationship. Maybe they are upset because you are moving so far away and don't know how to handle it. Good Luck

That is hurtful. But your friend may just not know how to say good-bye. I would assume that there are some feelings of abandonment there - and hopefully they will work themselves out in the future. You can just let that person know that you care for them and hope for the best. Maybe try a letter?

Get a buzz and track them down at their where abouts and begin to cry and talk about the past and how it isn't right not to speak to one another and why I care for them and what we should do to keep in touch and if that doesn't work I would leave my contact information with a letter about how you feel in the mailbox at their residence on my last day before I left!

I would tell them that I love them, give them my new # and address, and let them go in hopes they contact me. Your friend may feel abandoned or let down because they know they will miss you and life will not be the same. Try to be sensitive and understand why they are acting that way. If you come to find that they are just being a jerk-I would have to say that they weren't much of a friend afterall.

I would go over to say goodbye, and tell him/her I love them and will miss them very much. Should he/she still not want to talk to you, have a letter that you have written expessing your feelings and saying everything that you wanted to say. Maybe you friend is just hurting because they will miss you and the friendship that you have and they do not know how to say goodbye.
It is a tough situation, but make every effort you can to say goodbye, because if you don't you might regret it and question yourself later if there was more you could have done.
peace and luck

If you have something important to tell him/her, just go to him/her, and tell what inside your mind. Doesn't matter when he/she don't wanna talk to you, he/she should only listen to what you say.
I'm sure after it you'll feel relief, so you can move to the new place, start a new life and find news friends. Good luck and enjoy your new journey! ;-)
