Adam and Eve had many sons and daughters according to the above. Adam and Eve were designed to live forever. Once sin entered the world, an alternative method for the furtherance of mankind was used, one not in line with God's original design.

Cain's evil line of descendants probably incestually married. Seth's more godly line could well have married a descendant of Cain so far down the line as to not be considered incest, thus preserving a godly heritage.

Remember, because the human race was not so affected by sin as it eventually would be AND because the pre-flood world was a much more tolerable environment, humans lived hundreds of year, allowing for the procreation of several generations.

Good question, Let's assume that the happy couple were more of a busy hands project for God more than anything else. So we must ask ourselves if man born of God is actually human. This could be a real chicken or the egg kinda deal. Anyway, it's more than likely Adam called an escort service (as hookers were called then, and now too come to think of it !) for his boys when they came of age, as many caring Dads do to this very day.
