I am off to africa in september and i need a solution my local spanish dealer is unable to fix and another diesel garage. Pulling away no power top speed down to 110 KPH injectors good compression good i think its fuel but how can i check this urgent help needed. When revved it sounds and feels flat last year I travelled 700KM in North Africa all fine apart from breaking suspension good truck would also like to convert to rear coil springs and get more power...has anyone tried these power chips do they work cheers Paul

the power chips and hardware do work. how to check the fuel? i don't know about african standards, but here in the 'states, we have octane ratings on our fuels. get the highest rating you can. or try adding some octane booster, as well as fuel injector cleaner. look for labels specified for diesel. additionally, i'd change the fuel filter.
also, i'd LOVE to see your pictures of africa, and i have many links and info for suspensions on trucks...specifically, the type you are looking for. Cheers yourself! :)
P.S. how many miles (Kilometeres) is on your engine?

Have you checked your turbo boost pressure?If its inter cooled check that all cooler hoses sound and you have no leaks.Also check your turbo waste gate.Power chips work not to be recommended for North Africa they put extra load on all your engine components.In these conditions the simpler the better.

Possibly the turbo has given up the goat.
(Don't octane boosters only help with Petrol/Gasoline????)

try detane fluid and put it in the diesel gas,check the egr valve
