This is about teen sex..This girl made a comment about teens and its their bodies and should be able to do what they want and make their mistakes and learn from them. From a parent prespective thats a poor attitude to have!!! I know there are alot of great teens out their who use their common sence and I give all of you much props..The ones with the crappy attitude about sex and its my body, do you realize once you have sex accidents can happen, teenage pregnancies which will change your entire life..life threatning diseases like Aids witch will eventualy take your life, and what about STD's? I have a friend whos daughter is 13 and already had herpies which will stay with her for the rest of her life its very sad.. Some mistakes you make are gonna be mistakes you cant fix!Why must kids be disrespectful to their parents when all we are trying to do is keep our kids protected? Whats gonna happen when the time comes you have children and they carry this attitude?

I agree with you. I am 15 years old and I know about 7 teens who are pregnant. There are about 10 that have some sort of STD that I know about. I'm not even concerned with dating because I see what it does to other people. My sister is concerned with guys only and she has a 2.0 GPA. I am not and I have a 3.7 GPA. I want to keep it that way. Tjere are so many good teens out there but because of those ones that go out acting all wild, they give all teens a bad reputation. Everyone thinks that all teens are going to do something wrong. I wish that these bad teens would realize that it isn't good to act like they do and it is just ruining their lives. A lot of teens in my school say "I hate my parents." They don't know how lucky they are to have good parents who buy them brand name clothes and give them internet and cable. When I get older and have children, I am going to make sure that I monitor their every move because it is just going to get worse as time goes on. These teens are the people who are going to be running my country in future years and that is hard for me to think about. There are so many children out there who go hungry every night and some teens complain because they can't get the $100 shoes. Some teens are good parents but I just hope that the ones who are bad now that it comes back to haunt them when they get older. I wonder everyday what this world is coming to.

It is sad that teens these days have no respect for adult authority and their parents. Yeah it is their bodies but if they know that having sex and being just a child is a mistake then do not make that mistake. It is like driving down the road and you see the pothole but say you are going to drive thru it rather than go around it which can do damage to your car but you knew the consequences. Some teens just have a negative attitude and think they know everything when they do not. Peer pressure can be a problem but teens need to learn that following the crowd is not the best thing. I wonder if STDs and AIDS are high among teens today because of the fact you see so many of them doing adult activities which is a crying shame. Kids just wanting to grow up so fast and for no reason whatsoever.

that is right even though i am 13 i respect my body and would never do anything to show it off teens should wait to have sex when they get married cause when they r like 15 -19 they think the r ready to have it when they arent cause they think people will say stuff about them saying she or he r a virgin and they feel bad and try to get a bf fall in love and have sex i juast dont get y people would do that from a teens point of view u r right about what u said

i agree. the only problem with my mom is when she is trying to protect me [not from sex ive never had it, im not like that] but protect me in general .. she yells about it instead of actually talking calmly. i hate it. i dont understand why she just cant talk to me instead. =/
